BUYING

What we sell
We sell a range of second-hand items but we do offer new items from time to time. Because of most of our items are second-hand, the same standard of warranties do not apply as to goods sold as new.
Our products aren’t perfect and are in used condition. That is our business and we will not accept returns simply on this basis.
We photograph all our items and we suggest that you look carefully at the photographs before you make a decision to buy. If you want to ask us questions or view items then please contact us. We suggest you view higher value items at our showroom before you buy.
The colour of items may differ depending on the resolution of the device on which you use our website. From time to time, mistakes may occur in the description of items listed. We reserve the right to correct any errors on our website.

Copyright is retained in all our own artworks and designs and does not transfer on purchase of an artwork.

We use the Stripe payment facility to process online orders. Bank transfers are also possible.

Refunds and returns policy
We understand our obligations to consumers under the Fair Trading Act 1986 and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and nothing in these terms and conditions limits your rights under this law.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us outlining your concerns (with photos if possible). We will then contact you to try to find a solution, which may include arranging for the exchange or replacement of the item you have purchased or providing a credit at our discretion.
We will refund the purchase price if the fault with the item is substantial in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or otherwise at our sole discretion. Please choose carefully, however, as we do not offer refunds if you have simply changed your mind.
If undamaged items are returned to us for exchange, we do not refund any packing and postage charges. Return of undamaged goods for exchange is entirely at your own cost and risk.

Delivery
The prices for items purchased on our website do not include delivery costs. The purchase price is for a ‘click and collect’ service where you, the buyer collects your item from our Central Auckland showroom. We will hold items for a reasonable length of time at your convenience. We will ship items to you if agreed using third party couriers or postal services. Items are at your risk once they are collected by the courier or delivered to the post office. We suggest you get a shipping and insurance quote from us before you purchase to avoid surprises. Many items are fragile or large and may be more expensive to send than you anticipate.
